There's still time to join our next walk, which is open to the public, not just members, on Friday, August 7. This will be held on Teconic Hudson Lands property, which has been opened up to the club for this walk. RSVP for this walk through our website link here.

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library is planning a Mushroom Day Event on Saturday, September 12, from 1-4pm, and they have invited MHMA to participate. They envision a large, library-wide celebration of all things fungi and are looking for organizations that may be interested in participating. They plan to have presentations taking place inside the library or outside on the library’s large back lawn. They have projectors, laptops, AV gear, display screens, etc. available for indoor presentations. 

This is a great opportunity for MHMA to gain community exposure by offering to give a presentation, staffing an educational table, fielding public Q&As, or leading a walk in the nearby Clifton Park Town Center Park. Our group has a lot to offer, so let's commit to joining this community event.
