My boyfriend and I are interested in going on the hike Wednesday Aug 8 but we are not yet members. Can we join the hike? And if “yes”, do we just show up or is there someone else I needto contact? I am not sure of protocol. Also I was wondering if you might point me toward anyone who could confirm my ID of some chanterelles I picked two days ago. We are 99% confident they are not false chanterelles or Jack O Lanterns but would love a more experienced ID before I cook them. Thanks
Any walks posted to this site are free to the public. Just show up. And bring the mushrooms you’d like help identifying. Always a good idea to be 100% positive before eating. You can also join the midhudsonmyco page on Facebook for help IDing shrooms.
