Monthly Mushroom Speaker Series – Bill Yule -Mycorrhizal Symbiosis

Mycorrhizal Symbiosis: this is an introduction to the ecology and diversity of fungal/plant symbiosis with an emphasis on the two main types, Arbuscular and Ectomycorrhizae, and a outline of the five other types. The program is aimed at amateur mycologists, gardeners and foresters to help understand the role of fungi in heath ecosystem function.
Bill Yule is and Environmental Educator at The Connecticut River Museum in CT and has been giving talks on fungi and mushrooms for 25 years throughout the northeast including NEMF, NAMA and local mushroom clubs, Environmental Centers, Master Gardeners classes, etc.
Bill is active in fungal education for the three clubs he’s most active in, CT Valley Mycological Society, COMA, and Pioneer Valley Mycological.
