Leaders duties are to represent the club and be knowledgeable enough to answer or redirect questions that come up during the walk. Hosts duties are to secure permission and know the terrain...  Make sure sensitive property lines are not crossed...  And if possible pre-scout so the walk will be as great a success as possible...
