  1. Found a nice grouping of Shaggy Mane, Coprinus Comatus outside one of the entries to my office building at work. They were growing near some asphalt in hard packed soil. These were young specimens that still had their cap intact with the stem. I pulled about 1lb of mushrooms on 10/09/15 and they were delicious sauteed and smothering a nice porterhouse steak! ID was confirmed via the internet and a message to “The Mushroom Hunter” on Facebook. My first find that I actually consumed.
